Browntop millet veg rice

Ingredients
- 1 cup Browntop millet (soaked and boiled)
- ½ cup moong dal (washed and soaked)
- 1 cup mixed vegetables (blanched)
- 2 tsp ginger paste
- Salt to taste
- Two green chilies (finely chopped)
- ¼ tsp Cumin
- ½ tsp Chana dal
- ¼ tsp black mustard seeds
- ½ tsp Urad da
- 2-4 curry leaves
- 1 tsp ghee (optional)
- ¼ cup coriander leaves (finely chopped)
Recipe
- Heat the non-stick pan and add 3 tsp of oil.
- Now add cumin, mustard seeds, chana dal, and urad dal. Let it crackle for a few seconds.
- Add green chilies and ginger paste. Fry it until the raw smell goes away.
- Add moong dal without water and curry leaves, and fry it. Cover the pan and wait for 2 minutes.
- Now add all vegetables and salt and mix it well. Cover and cook for 1 minute.
- Fry the mixture after adding Browntop millet for 3 minutes.
- Serve it with fresh coriander leaves or ghee. You can enjoy the meal with the raita or salad.
Bonus tips: People who prefer non-veg food can add shredded chicken or paneer to make it yummier. Don't forget to add 1 tsp of the garlic paste as well.
